Inspired by the exuberance and richness of Brazilian flora, the Plantae Collection creates its own identity by bringing tropicality to its shapes, textures, and colors, in a profusion of art, design, and nature.
Identity: A unique blend of art and nature.
Material: Premium velvet sculptures.
Inspiration: The vibrant beauty of Brazilian tropical flora.
Synthetic Fibers: Today, much of the velvet used in furniture and decorative items—such as those seen in the Plantae Collection—is produced from polyester, viscose, or nylon. These fibers are chosen for being more durable, stain-resistant, and for maintaining vibrant colors over time.
Special Textures: In contemporary interior design, it is common to find variations like bouclé or suede (synthetic chamois), which use similar weaving or finishing processes to create tactile surfaces that invite touch.
For the Furnitech pieces designed by Vanessa Lazzari, a high-grammage velvet is used. This type of material is composed of dense fibers that ensure the sculpture maintains its organic and sculptural shape while simultaneously offering a premium finish and a rich sensory experience.
